activities that are part of the webquests published on this website.
Select the items below for an explanation of how to do the activity
or activities suggested in the wbequest that you have chosen.
Although this website is for health webquests, a variety of skills
from other subjects such as math or social studies can be used in
health education and there are generic skills such as verbal
presentations and research reports that also need to be used.
Please ask your teacher for additional help if you still do not
understand what is being asked of you, or if you need additional
help.
You may also want to review the Teacher Evaluation Tools to see how
these types of activities are evaluated. Check with your teacher to
see if he/she will be using these tools to evaluate your work.
You will also be evaluated on your teamwork, participation, critical
thinking and inquiry skills.
We recommend that students using these webquests use the
Personal Health Journal
to reflect on their experiences. These journals have public sections
to share with your teacher or classmates as well as a private
section to keep your personal notes and ideas. Please check with
your teacher to see if you are expected to keep a journal for your
webquest.
