School Health Policies

Policies adopted by school boards, health authorities, governments and other public agencies that guide the programs that are delivered within or with schools are an essential element to a comprehensive approach to school health promotion. Such policies should require and encourage the coordination of programs/services, define a holistic approach to the whole child, whole school and whole community and also address a wide range of health and social issues as well as direct the elements of a comprehensive approach.

This section lists several web-based international resources  and provides several specific policy tools in the future.
