Design,  Criteria  for   Instructional  Materials

As the school and community responses to a social issue mature, we learn more about the design and content of educational materials. For example, in HIV prevention, we have developed terms such as people living with AIDS. Or, in smoking prevention, care is taken in education materials not to stigmatize smokers. No documents of this type were found on preventing crime, violence or antisocial behaviours.
