Community Coordination and Assessment
Antisocial behaviour is a concern for educators, police, social services, public health, parents and the entire community. Consequently, their efforts must be coordinated. Often this is done through community coalitions. An important concomitant step in the planning process, once coordination has been initiated, is an assessment of community and school needs and resources. In health promotion, the obvious agency for this coordination is public health. In crime prevention, this role may be best assigned to the police.Explanations (Summaries, Articles)
